If we all rise up,
Standing together as one:
We can save the world
The Lover
You are my sunrise,
My siren call, my soul’s song.
You saved me, from me.
The Glutton
Oi! Save me a piece!
Fingers rise up the counter
Seeking promised cake
Capitalism
Squeeze ev’ry penny
Prices rising all the time
Shareholders delight

It just popped up in my blog stats, btw, that this was the one thousandth comment on my blog (not that that means anything really)… Imagine a load of balloons suddenly falling from the ceiling as you walk in a room, and a brass band playing something stirring in the corner!

Good for you! I should follow your lead and work on cranking out at least a poem a day. I don’t work well with prompts though (I really wish I did).
