I’ve been away on holiday this week, getting mostly soaked in North Devon (but also having a fantastic time with my wife and two boys)… Had almost zero phone or wifi coverage for a whole week, so when this prompt finally came through in a traffic jam I couldn’t resist the following…
Stuck fast in traffic
I get cut up and see red
I flip him the bird…
🙂
See you snuck a bit of nature in (sort of) at the end. 🙂

Hah! You made the best of a lousy situation. 🙂

It says a lot about me that my first thoughts in that situation are in haiku form!

Well that needed to be expressed… bet you felt better after. 🙂 And the haiku left a smile on my face.

Thanks Florence… Much better to vent through rhyming verse than in other ways, I reckon!

Thanks Denis. I think we’ve all been there, in thoughts if not in deed 🙂

Not much “zen” in this one but most understandable. ☺

It’s a “thought about it” rather than “did it” haiku… venting through poetry!

Ah, yes, the endless serenity of the haiku.

Ha ha! Intermittent serenity and daftness in my case 🙂

I’m running around with a bumper sticker these days that reads, “Haikus confuse me. / Sometimes they make no sense./ Hand me the pliers.” Reactions vary from “huh?” to “that’s not really a haiku” to laughter.

I laughed… probably says all you need to know about me!
