Well, What Do You See? (poem)

I will be taking part in OctPoWriMo – October Poetry Writing Month – aiming to write and publish a poem every day this month. In my usual way, I only found out about this a couple of days ago, and have zero poems stockpiled… I like a challenge! Anyone can join in – you can sign up here http://www.octpowrimo.com/2015/10/octpowrimo-begins.html

Today’s prompt was “clouds”…

Chugging Steam Trains
Lickable Lollies
Oodles of noodles
Unidentified Flying Objects… flying
Dragon’s Breath
Scampering Sheep, fleeing the dragon!

Well, what do you see?

  1. Isn’t it fun to be invited to look at clouds as an adult? Glad you’ve joined the OctPoWriMo challenge. Enjoy! I look forward to it every October.

  2. This was delightfully whimsical – loved it!

And yeah, let’s just jump in and aim for the skies – floating and dream in the clouds – watch as the thunder rolls by – struck by lightning inspiration; in other words … I’ve never done a poetry challenge – during April I too, was doing A-Z as opposed to the April poetry one by NaNo – hmmm …. or is that NaPo… yeah, that’s it …. anyhow …. good luck and thanks for stopping and “liking” – appreciated 🙂
