When the world was young
A furious dance began
Partners twirling round
They danced back and forth
Across all of creation
Fighting each to win
Each side had its strengths
But when they joined together…
A perfect circle
One half black as night
And the other sun-bleached white.
United in love.

I, for one, love(d) to dance, and did so at every opportunity, on the dance floor, in the parks at night and in my own living room, alone, with all the furniture pulled out of the way. (I still have my ballet exercise/warm-up DVDs. I live in hope.) A wonderful poem, images. Thank you!
