I believe that love will find a way…
But Love didn’t find me yesterday.
Today’s chances aren’t looking so great.
Guess it’s tomorrow.
I’ll sit here and wait.

This is the blog of a woman who is seriously on the edge and I mean right ON the edge…no, not there… just a little bit further… further than that…no, further still…just a tiny bit more… just move slightly to the right a little…no, that’s too much…just move a tad to the left…that’s right, just there…now you’ve moved too far to the left… Damn, what part of the ‘on the edge’ do you not understand? Oh, and her matricidal boy genius, come devil spawn.

Love is about loving yourself.

I think that’s only a part of it. You have to be willing to share yourself too 😊

You are right 🙂 But with it comes vulnerability. Not everyone is ready to give part of themselves to others to be possibly tarnished later on 😦

That’s the gamble of love… Big risks, big rewards… Everyone has a tale of it going wrong, to some degree. We all just hope to end up in credit 🙂

Do we look for love or does it find us? Interesting.

And is the language of “finding” even appropriate? Love is built, brick by brick, with a partner of compatible materials

I think it’s a western, fuzzy ideal. I would get rid of Disney.

Well, yes, I identify. Cute verse calls for reading aloud. Like it.

Reblogged this on From Midnight to Dawnlight and commented:
Al is an exceptional writer. He convincingly writes with variety of feeling and thought. I thought Countdown 4 was sweet and funny, but there is also has a bit of truth in it. I’ll let my readers think on that for themselves. Thanks, Al. Wonderful post.
