After a rough patch offline (and by rough, I mean painful screaming agony for days on end, the constant drip of blood, and a copious amount of codeine), I’ve got out of the swing of haiku a little bit. (I’m hoping that’s the worst of the health side done with now, and my body can get on with the healing bit.) Anyway, enough about me – this was me feeling my way back into the haiku realm. Hope you enjoy 🙂

What I’d do for friends
Both amazes and scares me;
Makes my spine shiver

Real friends:
Hot situation,
Cool as ice
#3
Trembling in the rain
A boy and girl’s fingers touched;
Became more than friends

In case you’re wondering, had to go private…
Will try to explain more tomorrow. For now I need to go to sleep.

Thanks Meg… This is where I come to escape my problems! The fact that I’ve even mentioned it shows that things are finally starting to heal, but it’ll be a while before things fully settle. ❤

It sounds like agony, Al. Glad it’s over. You’ll have to write some haiku about the experience 🙂

I’d rather move on, and not dwell on the past… you’ll see exactly the sort of thing that pain-insomnia does to me with the cat haiku post coming up later today!
