Come, Meet Me On The Ocean

For those in need of something simple, and pure…

Come, meet me on the ocean
We’ll sail away, we two
Meet me on the ocean,
We’ll sail off, for the blue

We’ll chart a course for nowhere
And take in all the sights
Through a thousand storm-tossed days,
A hundred doldrum nights

Swim in crystal waters,
Diving in the deep
Find a shady beach spot
To curl up for a sleep

Mackerel skies and lullabies,
Bobbing on the tide
I want to spend eternity
Lying at your side

So, come meet me on the ocean
We’ll sail away, we two
Come meet me on the ocean
We’ll sail off, me and you
