Despite what some claim
A pen’s no match for a sword…
In a duel at least

This is the blog of a woman who is seriously on the edge and I mean right ON the edge…no, not there… just a little bit further… further than that…no, further still…just a tiny bit more… just move slightly to the right a little…no, that’s too much…just move a tad to the left…that’s right, just there…now you’ve moved too far to the left… Damn, what part of the ‘on the edge’ do you not understand? Oh, and her matricidal boy genius, come devil spawn.

I’d rather draw with a pen than a sword… For to draw the sword leave little recourse

I prefer to draw the curtains, to draw neighbours’ eyes away from my intentions!

I’m like Diana, I think a sharp pen can be very… cutting! And if it cuts deep enough, then the other person won’t have the strength to draw their sword. They’ll surrender before they even tried.
Unfortunately, not everyone uses their words with a good intention, and I know all too well that after being exposed to cutting words for too long, my defenses were broken and I had a hard time standing up, let alone fight for myself.
Yes, I know, why do I see the dark side of this? Your guess is as good as mine!
At least I do so with a smile (albeit small) on my face so it’s not too bad 🙂

Just keep the smile there, and there’s always hope 🙂

Yes, and I’m sharpening my pen, too, so maybe my words will end up being stronger than his? (she says, as half of her glasses slip off her nose)

I quite agree Al, the pen always wins if the poet can run fast enough!!

I’ve never been quick on my feet… I’ll keep the sword at my side, just in case!

I have a little dog (Pomeranian) who acts like a cat, so I think I’m good. Ha, ha! You should adopt one.
