I bathe in sound. I sample nibbles of pleasure from each vibration darting across my ear drums and diving into my cortex, translated into a sensuous internal orgy, savouring each soft contact. Conducting each stochastic orchestra, I stand proud and revel in the tempo and timpani of the beats of life, vibrant, swayful, playful. I zealously horde rictus rhythms, stockpiling them deep in psychological vaults, ready to access at a moment’s notice, always ready for me. Dextrous fingers tap out the beat, luxuriating in the lovers’ secret dance, beneath covers of shame…
It’s the silence that fills my nightmares.

Lush and sensory, Al. I like the rhythm and drive, the internalization and embrace of sound. The last line is so provocative. Wonderful writing 🙂

😀 yes. I always admire people who can be sexy without being explicit. I have a hard time with it.

It is a difficult one. I struggle too. Doing it in 99 words forces the hand, so to speak!

Thank you… this one started from a different place, so was a bit easier to put together. It was more about describing sound in a sexy way, rather than trying to describe something sexy and physical, if that makes sense… so a bit more hypothetical than some pieces 🙂

Oh yes. And it scratched my nerd itch so it was doubly enjoyable.
