This is the blog of a woman who is seriously on the edge and I mean right ON the edge…no, not there… just a little bit further… further than that…no, further still…just a tiny bit more… just move slightly to the right a little…no, that’s too much…just move a tad to the left…that’s right, just there…now you’ve moved too far to the left… Damn, what part of the ‘on the edge’ do you not understand? Oh, and her matricidal boy genius, come devil spawn.

Thanks Rita. How are you doing? I think I’ve lost your blog with your blog moves… where’s your blog home these days?

I’m well, thank you. Sorry about that but I’ve been flailing through my own hurting soul for well over a year and it played out online as well. It’s on my profile.
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been struggling a bit too, my friend. I hope you are seeing the sun more. Lot’s of love.

Thanks Rita. The sun’s still there, for both of us… the clouds will blow over eventually xxx

I was feeling in the blue too, but after reading that beautiful poem, I’m now feeling in the pink.
May your muse in the sky forever be an inspiration.
Feel better soon Al. xx

Stunningly beautiful Al, both the image and the haiku.
I hope that you are soon feeling better
My friend was caught in a slump
And was feeling down in the dumps
I sent him a verse
But it made him feel worse
And now he has got the right hump!!

My friend Judy wrote me some rhymes
On a day I was less than sublime…
They gave me a boost
I left feeling juiced
For they’d come at just the right time!

True. Since I go in to work in time for a 1:00 p.m. class, all I see is traffic everywhere and no beautiful skies unless it’s a Texas blue sky, which is unlike a blue sky anywhere else.

I can look at any photograph that features a cloudless, blue sky, register the shade of blue in my mind, and say, “Oh that picture was taken in Texas, wasn’t it?” I am a transplant from Virginia, and the first drive into Texas during August was that kind of Texas blue sky, and I knew from the skies I had “come home.” Like many of my friends say, “I’m not from Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.”

Lovely image and haiku Al.
Is that an app you used to fuse the muse?

I’d download that one! Up to a price of £1.79, anyway 🙂

Those colors can burst anyone out of a funky mood, right? 🙂 FYI: just received an email with your latest post (something about being published?), but when clicking on the link, only an error showed up… Maybe WordPress is having issues again, or maybe you know what this is all about?

That was my fault – accidentally published rather than schedule it… Hopefully it will go out for real in about 12 hours!

How lovely. My answer for the past couple of days has been to pretend I’m someone else. I’m hoping I can keep that going for a while… 🙂 ♥

Hi Marje. Thanks for thinking of me 🙂
Haven’t posted in a while… Not sure I will again… Can’t seem to find a balance between blogging, writing, and living… One always suffers! I love the idea of your new group btw – hope it’s a big success ❤

Ah, hope not Al, it would be shame if you give up, but do understand what you mean. I’m finding it difficult juggling everything too. Thanks for the encouraging words about the group. Bit crazy of me as I should be focusing on my edits for my novel. My hubby often says I have an issue with getting distracted! Think he knows me too well, so will try not to go too much off tangent.
