Plucking the fool’s harp,
Dancing the piper’s mischief,
Brings no clarity

Odd, I heard Nat King Cole singing, “dance, ballerina, dance” in my head when I read this a second time… don’t judge

I’m paying too much attention to news lately. I need to stay in my cave.

Love sharing haiku
With friends across the globe, but…
Just don’t laugh on bus!

Fool’s harp, jester’s pipe
Dance on a shifting carpet
Sing out loud and clear

Very good! There’s always a story or a lesson in your haiku. But you know what they say, all work and no play . . . 😉

The fool doesn’t usually know but does he really know and the piper wants to lead you astray and away. So beware the tricks of the fool and the piper or you may just disappear.
Great piece of writing in your Haiku. You always create the flavor of uniqueness in your words. Always impressive. jk

Thanks jk. I tried a more enigmatic style in this one, so it’s really interesting to see people’s interpretations 🙂

Great haiku Al bringing back memories of Rupert Murdoch, his editors and the phone hacking scandals. How many of those criminals made it to to Gaol?

Not many… in this country, there seems to be an attitude that all celebrities are fair game, all of the time, and are not entitled to any semblance of a personal life.
