No such thing as luck:
I’ll take hard work ev’ry time.
I hope that that’s true
Sometimes, luck also works 🙂
With hard work added, it can fetch more.

It is interesting how we humans think about these things. Was it luck? Or effort? or both? There is such a pull to believe in luck (bad and good) somehow it seems to be part of our nature. Even you hedge at the end of the Haiku, which is perfect, hoping your position is correct.
